This is part of a larger wind energy development project with Glace Bay Lingan Wind Power, an overall contract for a 12-megawatt wind farm consisting of nine turbines next to our Lingan generating station.
The entire project is expected to be fully operational by the fall of 2007, and will produce about 42 gigawatt hours of energy annually—enough to supply over 4,000 homes!
