If you've read about the swashbuckling exploits of Polish pilots during the Battle of Britain (the gallant Poles were crucial in saving the day) then you won't want to miss this belter of a museum just east of Kracow's centre
. It's located on an historic air-field that was the second largest Polish Air Force Field before the Second World War. Over a hundred aircrafts can be savoured, with everything from pre-war Polish fighter-planes to German Albatrosses, Spitfires and Soviet Kakaruzniks. Some of the exhibits are unique examples of their kind, so aviation fans are in for a treat!
also a couple of memorial to those who fell in the war at end of runway.
