Sodus Point is a very popular area for boaters and fishermen. The entire village is located on a small peninsula jutting out into Sodus Bay, matter of fact, Main Street dead ends at the tip of the peninsula and both sides of Main Street are lined with fishing and boating related shops, restaurants, and million dollar houses. The yacht club is private and is located behind some of the higher end houses off of Main Street.
