Brim Fell is a one mile whale back ridge linking Coniston Old Man with Swirl How.
Most peoples objective of the day whence climbing the Coniston Fells is The Old Man,that being the highest,but Brim Fell it's nearest neighbour offers a wonderful ridge to walk along,with splendid views all around to the NW are the Scafells,Englands highest mountains,North we have the Skiddaw range,NE the Hellvelyne range,plus many tarns and lakes can be seen from the East,not least of which is Windermer,Englands longest lake.
