There are many grave stones including military stones commemorating those soldiers who died in the First and Second World wars. A large war memorial also stands in front of the tower.
We have two examples of grave stones with the following text: 'In loving memory of my dearly beloved wife Doris Mary Redman who passed away January 20th 1969 aged 43 years. Gone from me but not forgotten, Never shall her memory fade, Sweetest thoughts will ever linger, Round the grave where she is laid. Also her dearly beloved husband Sidney John who passed away September 17th 1987, Aged 76 years. Reunited.'
The second grave bears the following text: 'Sacred to the memory of William Coley, the beloved husband of Ann Coley, who died May 10th 1910, aged 82 years. Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord.'
The church itself dates from 1235 so there must be many graves which have now been forgotten. Some are illegible but many can be inspected. As in many churchyards the stones vary immensely, some with crosses others with just a headstone. The cemetery itself is grassed over with some graves with plants and flowers. It is kept quite neatly.
