A 30 foot wood bridge over a ravine on the cliffs of Rancho Palos Verdes. Great views of the ocean and Catalina Island. Several ways to get here. One of the best is to park in the lot at the end of La Rotonda. Restrooms and water here. Take the gray path through the golf course to the end of the cliff and turn left. Take the dirt path to the bridge. Continue on and there is a nice switch-back to the bottom rocky beach. Or, continue further to Shoreline Park, a restored natural area. Bring your camera for good photo opportunities. Bring some peanuts to feed the friendly crows.
Cautions: Do not go near the cliffs, over the ropes or off trail. If you take any trails to the bottom, wear waffle hiking boots, and use trekking poles or hiking sticks, and do not go alone. It will require you to be in good physical shape. Do not go if it is raining or looks like rain because of slippery footing, mud and rock slides, washouts or flash floods. At the bottom beware of waves and know the tide table.
