Bow Street is the home of the Royal Opera House, and of Bow Street Magistrates court.
The Orange properties of the London board: Bow Street, Vine Street and Marborough Street share a common theme - namely that they are the locations of famous police stations. The Bow Street magistrates court and police station closed in 2006, it was the site of one of the original station houses when the Metropolitan Police Service was established in 1829. Before that the "Bow Street Runners" were, in 1749, a prototype police force.
