While Mr. BluegrassCache was buying a used car, he decided the time was right and closed two deals that day - one with the used car salesman on a light blue Chevy Beretta and the other on Mrs. BGC.. Later they wrote about it in the paper.

Mr. BGC had a history of wrecking cars before he married Mrs. BGC and she took over all the driving. Mrs. BGC drove two hours from her home to help him pick out a new-used car. He proposed. She said yes. He wrecked the car two weeks later. Mr. and Mrs. BGC lasted a little longer though - going on 17 years.
A few years later the local newspaper was doing a series of pictures and stories on proposals for Valentines Day and did a story called "Closing The Deal".
Nothing real special about the place. It was just the right time.
