Been sitting on these pictures since we were in town for the return of Grand Prix racing to Detroit. This statue of George Washington is just outside of the Old Mariner's Church. The church mentioned in Gordon Lightfoot's song, "The Wreck Of the Edmund Fitzgerald ".
