A very tiny and remote Belizean village library.

This library was just recently constructed within the past several years in Blue Creek. There are no regular hours of operation, it is open when someone volunteers to open it. It is directly across from the Blue Creek School. There is nothing to denote the name of the school or the library indicating that it is Blue Creek's own. This library receives its book via donations and from those who study abroad there. That is how I came to visit this library. This is located in remoted South-western Belize about 12 miles from the Guatemala border. Please include a picture of the school along with your picture of the library, there is a sign on the school that states it was build with the donated funds from Ireland. The villagers are very friendly and are of Mayan decent. Most villagers do speak some English. The Blue Creek Research Station is just across the Blue Creek River and about a 1/2 mile hike along a well worn path.
