"Nara Roesler has been dealing with contemporary art since 1975 and established Galeria Nara Roesler in São Paulo in the year 1989.

We are committed to Brazilian art of our times and represent a wide range of artists, ranging from mainstream names as Helio Oiticica, Neville D'Almeida, Abraham Palatnik and Tomie Ohtake to a stable of experimental artists, including Arthur Omar, Brigida Baltar, Artur Lescher, Cao Guimaraes, Cristina Canale, Niura Bellavinha, José Patricio, Marcos Chaves and Laura Vinci - all of whom participated to acclaim at the Sao Paulo Biennial .

In the last few years Galeria Nara Roesler has attended international fairs such as ArtBasel Miami Beach, ARCO, MACO, VOLTA, Balelatina, FIAC, ArteBA and Art Chicago. The effort has been proving its effectiveness since our artists have been featured in solo or group shows at institutions such as MoMA, Houston MFA, Cleveland Center of Contemporary Art, San Diego Museum of Art, El Museo del Barrio, Tate Liverpool, Pallazzo delle Papesse, Henie Onstad Kunstsenter, Museo Reyna Sofia, Museo Tamayo, MARCO-Vigo, National Museum of Modern Art - Tokyo, Centre Georges Pompidou, Mannheim Kunsthalle, Kunsthaus Baselland, MALBA, among others.

In 2004 Galeria Nara Roesler launched a project of collaborations with international galleries called Roesler Hotel, aiming at the creation of a convergence point for the new global nomads, the artists that come and go.
