From Route 3 turn onto IL CR-7/Roots Rd;
Drive 3.4 mi turn left at Lock and Dam Rd;
Drive 0.3 mi turn right at Flinton Station Rd;
Drive approx 2.0 mi turn left on unnamed drive;
Drive approx 1/2 mi to parking waypoint
The confluence point lies in the Mississippi River floodplain, approx 20 ft off a gravel road. The enbankment slopes 30 degrees down to the northeast, towards a flood control canal. Location of the confluence is about 20 ft. from the canal's waterline, and 12 ft. from the gravel road above.
