With its towering château style, it was designed to mirror New York's Plaza Hotel. The Fort Garry boasts an elegant lobby and handsome dining rooms and lounges, and the ballrooms are classics of early-20th-century grandeur. Most guest rooms are also historically authentic in that they are smaller than those in modern hotels. But the quality amenities, exemplary service, and the overall sense of elegance make this a memorable stay.
