This steel bridge was built in 1925, when the community of Woolsey was a thriving town on the banks of the West Fork River. All that is left of the little town that was is this truss bridge named for the community, a small cemetery on the east side of the White River and I believe the building on the west side of the railroad tracks not far from the bridge must have been the depot. (I need to do some more research ie., ask the owners)
