The neighrhood is defined as the area between Avenida Rebouças, Avenida Paulista, Avenida Brigadeiro Luís Antônio and Rua Estados Unidos. The neighborhood is named as it is because many of the streets within the neighborhood is named after cities in Sao Paulo state.
