The 250 mm. German Minenwerfer Howitzer was technically more of a
mortar than a howitzer. The gun had a maximum range of 2.6 kilometers and
a rate of fire of 200 rounds per hour. The weight of each shell was 92

forces during World War I at St. Mihiel, France on September 16. 1918. It
was presented to the City of Two Harbors by the Oscar Anderson Post No. 109, The
