WILLIAMSTON — Lights are up, and Santa’s ready for the masses to come visit him. Every night through December until the big day, Santa will visit with the kiddies at Williamston’s Christmas Park.
Festivities kick off the first Saturday with musical entertainment, horse-and-carriage rides, a live nativity and, of course, the jolly man himself.
Everything is free, as it is every year when the town transforms Springwater Park on Main Street into a Christmas fairyland.
But the fun isn’t limited just to weeknights, because the park is open every Saturday night until Christmas. So now, thanks to popular demand, options are available for when to take a special friend on an evening carriage ride on a weekend.
While special events will take place on Saturdays, Santa will be at the park from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. every day from Saturday until Christmas. He’ll be riding into the park 6 p.m. every Saturday on Williamston’s antique fire truck.
