The Half Moon has been in business since 1940. Arguably Lockport's busiest fast-food joint, Half Moon is a vintage charm. A faux front end of an old car protrudes from one wall, old and new video games take up an entire corner and shiny red booths complete the Archie-comic feel. Newer additions include a neatly kept outdoor patio and picnic tables leading down to the riverbank.
They serve regular hot dog, foot long dogs, cheese dogs, chili dogs and moon dogs. They also have really great fries as well as several types of hamburgers and many flavors of ice cream.
