You'll find a $180 Mt. Rainier space on the National Parks Edition of Monopoly. That's quite a deal considering the amount of recreation and beauty that you'll find at this magnificent mountain.

There is so much to do up in Mt. Rainier National Park that I don't know where to begin. The main visitor centers are in the Paradise area, accessed from the Nisqually entrance, and the Sunrise area, accessed from the White River entrance.

See waterfalls, wildflower fields, glaciers and vistas. Hike the historic 93 mile Wonderland Trail which circles the Mountain, or the famous Pacific Crest Trail, which runs through the park. Visit Paradise in the winter for ranger guided snow shoe and cross country ski outings. Stay in historic National Park lodges.

These coordinates are for the Nisqually entrance to the park which provides access to the Longmire and Paradise sections of the park. Longmire is the historic administration area of the park, and has a great interpretive walk as well as a park museum. Paradise has a visitor center, the historic Paradise Inn, and other historic buildings. It is one of the starting points for people climbing the mountain. All areas of the park showcase the rustic park style architecture that the National Park System is known for.

The default picture is taken from the Tipsoo Lake area on Chinook Pass.
