When you enter the Indiana Theatre, your mouth will drop with awe as you view all of the ornate fixtures on the walls and cealings. You may even miss this fountain as it sits quietly within its own little alcove on the left side of the inner lobby.

The curator says the fountain pump is located in the basement of the theatre and has always had a problem. It often airlocks which causes the water in the fountain to stop flowing. An outside door has to be unlocked to access the basement. Someone has to go to the basement to shut off the pump, wait for one minute for the water to backflow to the supply tank to push the air out of the pump, and then restart the pump. Because of all the pump trouble, it was decided to plant artificial plants in the fountain.
