Family spreads out - Ohio - Direction and Distance Arrows on Waymarking.com

As you drive along US highway 20-A you'll see these arrows on the north side of the road at the end of a farm lane. Noone was available at the farmhouse that could answer questions about the arrows when we were there. Each of the arrows has a person or couple's name printed on it along with a distance in miles.

Speculation suggests that each of the arrows represents one of the siblings that grew up on the farm. But, it could also be brothers and sisters of the owner of the farm, or even special friends.

The nearest arrow distance is only one mile east of the arrows. The farthest is 841 miles to the west and slightly north, placing it in the middle of South Dakota.
Several of the arrows are bent, possably by vandals.

Historic significance: Unknown. Location nearest to where you live now: One arrow points west and the distance places it in the middle of northern Illinois. Date placed: Not listed
