Xunantunich (Stone Lady) is a beautifully excavated ancient Mayan ruin in the extreme west of Belize. It was occupied from AD 650 through about AD 1000. Numerous features are available for exploring. The co-ordinates will place you atop the highest level on the largest temple. From there you look west just over a mile into Guatemala. Follow signs from main road west of San Ignacio and cross the Mayan river on a pontoon. Road leads to parking lot and gate. Well worth the visit.
