Gateway of the North-North Bay, Ontario - Freestanding Arches on Waymarking.com

First constructed in 1928 by the North Bay Travelers, this arch became the official logo of North Bay, Ontario in 1934, when the group was incorporated as the North Bay Club of the Associated Canadian Travelers. Now bypassed by the modern highway (Rte. 11), at one point the arch spanned the main north/south route and the entrance to North Bay itself.
