The Mansion at River Walk Bed & Breakfast is located in the former Culbertson Widows' Home which was opened in 1873 to provide food, clothing, and shelter for town's destitute widows. The home was funded by William S. Culbertson, a wealthy merchant and he provided further funding in his will for continued upkeep. The home became a boarding house in 1947 with a monthly fee. In 1971 the home closed. The building was been completely renovated retaining its original Italianate charm. The home is a contributing building in the Mansion Row Historic District.
The bed & breakfast features four suites, each furnished with period furniture. The bed & breakfast provides a variety of breakfast options and also provides snacks in the afternoon and evening.
