This view is from the top of a small mountain in Cartersville, Georgia. It is in a city recreation area located just east of I-75.
The trails leading to this spot are pretty easily walked but it is about 2 miles to this point. There are several geocaches in this park and lots of history nearby. On a very clear day I am told one can see Stone Mountain rising to the SE.
This area played key roles in the Civil War.
