This railroad station, originally for Canadian National, is now a major rail (both VIA Rail and Amtrak), bus and rental car transportation hub.

There is a sign on the front that tells the history of the railroad station (see the listing under "Blue Plaques"). It was built between 1917 and 1919 by the Canadian National Railway and was the western most terminus for the railway. In 1993, the station was converted to a multi-modal transportation facility that included intercity busses. A bus concourse has been added in the rear of the building.
Both Amtrak and VIA Rail use the service. Since it crosses the border into the US, there is a customs area that passengers must pass through to board the Amtrak Cascades train.
The station is located at 1150 Station Street, not far from Main Street, and a couple blocks from the Vancouver Science World building.
The building is in great shape and appears to be a pretty busy place.
I, myself took that Cascades train. I came to Vancouver by airplane, then, after a few days, traveled to Seattle by train and visited friends there.
