The Buffalo Niagara Convention Center is a two-floor convention center in the heart of downtown Buffalo. The upper floor features a wide-open 64,000 sq. ft. exhibit space which can seat up to 7000 for conventions. The lower, or marquee, level has several spaces of various sizes ranging from 13,000 to 500 sq. ft. There is also a lounge on this level that serves drinks and limited food selections.
There has been talk for several years of building a new convention center to replace this aging, outdated, undersized one. However, there is no money to build one and nobody can agree upon a location.
