A great old shop that has an amazing collection. The main focus is the stone of the region: Petoskey. Petoskey is fossilized coral that has been ground down to stones by glaciation. The northwest corner of Michigan's Lower Penninsula has large deposits of the stone and Michigan has made Peotoskey the state stone.
The shop has other fossils, including some beautiful, polished samples about 3 feet across.
