Unfortunately we were booked into another motel when we arrived there. We had planned on a second night at the Americana, but were unable to. However, when we stopped in to let the owner know we were going to be unable to stay, we got to talking to him about the status and conditions of roadside accomodations and he gave us the grand tour. He opened up all of the rooms that were empty, for us to peruse and take back the information that he ran a clean motel. We were really impressed with what we saw and I checked everything. The owner was really nice, the rooms were clean and of a very good size and the price was right. This motel even has a AAA star rating.
