This rock and wood monument is located in the extreme northeast corner of California, about 120 feet northeast of station MV0392. Access is from the north, from the Adel to Fort Bidwell Road, take BLM Road south to Twelvemile Creek, ford the creek and climb the canyon wall to station. This monument was established in 1872 by A.W. Von Schmidt who was hired to establish the corner of California, Nevada, and Oregon at N 42° W 120°.
