This well known sign sits attop two stone pillars marking the original entrance to Knoebels Grove Amusement park. The land was originally purchased for $931 in 1828. At first just Crystal pool was opened to the public on July 4,1926. Then the carousel came and eventually the park turned into the huge success it is today. The neon sign now sits in the middle of the park due to the huge expansion of park boundaries. The park is known for it's outstanding rollercoasters, which people come from all over the country just to ride. It is also known for it's free parking, no cost entry fees and free entertainment and very reasonably priced food.
