Keeneland is located on the west side of Lexington, KY, in the heart of the Blue Grass horse region. The grounds are quite remarkable, very clean and customer friendly. It has both a dirt (Polytrack) and a traditional grass track.

This was my first visit to the track. I was quite impressed with the grounds. After attending a company function upstairs, I walked down to the bottom level and just strolled around. Nice seating area, with plenty of people watching to be done. Make sure you go behind the stands between races to watch them get the horses ready for the races. You can stand less than five feet away! Basic admission is only $3! The live racing season is in April and October. Keeneland also hosts many horse sales througout the year.
