The graves of Albert Findley and Grant Finley are located in a cemetery that was established in 1910. The graves in this cemetery are just east of a dramatic volcanic marr named Fort Rock.

Fort Rock towers 325 feet above the desert floor lending to this cemetery's picture of desolation. Most of the graves here are from the homestead era 1910-1920 and several of the markers are homemade. Many of the graves are unmarked. Albert Findley passed away in 1912 according to his nearly unreadable marker. Just north of the Albert Findley grave is a newer replacement marker showing the final resting place of Grant Finley. Grant's lonely epitaph on the marker is "RIP Grant Finley 1912". Apparently was no relation between Grant and Albert if they were related there may have been a misspelling of a family name on one of the markers.

Graves at this location have been researched through 1992 by a volunteer and the names of those buried here up until that year can be found in the USGenWeb Archives.
