The Sprag Pole Inn and Museum is a fascinating place. You could spend an hour or two there and not see everything! The Barber Pole was used by Robert "Bob" William Skeman, Sr., Barber, about 1900.

I traveled through historic gold mining town of Murray, Idaho during the Missoula Ice Age Flood trip in August 2007 with an Elderhostel group. We visited the Sprag Pole Inn and Museum where I saw two Barber Poles. One of the Barber Poles was used by Robert "Bob" William Skeman, Sr., Barber, about 1900. The museum is a fascinating place. You could spend an hour or two there and not see everything!
