This treehouse is in my front yard on the island of Tinian, in the Mariana Islands. This is the third treehouse to stand in this spot. The other two were destroyed by typhoons.
The tree that holds thee house is a Bofringing tree (a tropical Acacia tree). It was brought to the Mariana Islands by the Japanese to make railroad ties and for firewood for the trains.
At play at the treehouse are by daughter and two of her friends.
