I found that the Darwin Baptist Church name to be an oxymoron of the highest caliber!

If you think about it.. the humor of this is self explanatory.
I've been wanting to post a picture of this little church's sign somewhere and this waymarking category is perfect!
I was in grad school at OU and doing a lot of work in southeastern Oklahoma when I found this. I probably drove through Antlers, OK about 50 times every summer and past this little church with other grad students as we did field work on our projects. I was in the zoology department. It has been a kind of right of passage for my buddies to see if the new field person laughs when we pass this sign or not. If they are thinking... and in anyway slightly intellectual, they usually do. I find is really funny!

If you're Baptist, there is a good chance that you're probably a creationist. So it's incredibly funny that the church is named after the "father of evolution" Darwin!
The Church is actually west of (34.237351,-95.645428)Antlers, Oklahoma on Hwy 3.
