The privy door has been secured by the school corporation. You can however crack it so see that it has been stuffed full of corn. The site is run as a living history museum.

This would have been a one-seater complete with moon cutout in the door.
Location:
The Pittsboro One Room School #3 was built in 1883. It was located on the farm currently owned by Frank McClung. Prior to this, it was a frame building, and was located on the Southwest corner of the Edgar Parker farm. School #3 was also known as the Caledonia School. This privy served the school.
