This stone footbridge was built when the reservoir was built in 1972 especially for hikers to access the moor. It also serves the round reservoir walk. A rather unusual footbridge as it is so wide; it looks like it was built for other purposes but at the north end of the bridge walkers have to turn sharply right as there is a cliff. It is clear only walkers could get around the corner.
