Hiahkwah Lake was Lou's favourite fishing and camping spot. There are two old log cabins at the lake, and you will see where he has written his name and a date that he visited. Lou Wolfe lived and worked in Kamloops from 1964 until his death. In the 1970's he owned and ran his own business "Wolfe Transportation". His ashes and memorial were placed Oct. 2, 2004.
The spot is very isolated but accessible by hikers or snowmobilers.
