This is one of 17 statues in the St. Clair area commissioned by the Moore family, who founded the Diamond Crystal Salt company in 1886. This statue was commissioned by Alice Moore, who dedicated it to her late husband with the words: "In memory of Franklin H. Moore 1907-1982".

This statue shows a woman and a small boy greeting the freighters and boats that pass along on the St. Clair River. Their companion, what appears to be a German Shorthaired Pointer is gazing up at the woman.
Breed: German Shorthaired Pointer

Date Built: 1985/01/01
