Everything agricultural for the area. There are two show rings for horses, one for show jumping, one for parading. A prestigious horse event with a large entry.
There are show classes for all livestock, e.g. beef cattle, bulls, heifers, calves, pigs, goats, and all breeds of sheep, because this is sheep country. Mainly hill farmers fattening cattle and sheep, no arable.

Trades represented for example forestry, animal husbandry, rural foods and pastimes. From their website "The show attracts over 25,000 people and has stock entries for cattle, sheep, goats, horses, pigs, heavy horses, dogs and poultry, as well as marquees for The Women's Institute, schools, and over 350 trade stands."

Its a grand day out, with so much to see. A popular food area. Plenty of opportunities to buy domestic items as well as massive agricultural implements.

Car parking FREE. Tickets in advance through website, or on the day.
The police operate a one way system for people leaving the show on the day, via Milnthorpe (west of show field).

Also the venue for the Lakeland Rose Show, an event in early July. (visit link)
