Brush Creek Swimmin' Spot - Swimming Holes on Waymarking.com

A small swimming hole (pool) at the base of a waterfall on Bush Creek. Now (Summer, 2007) the hole is pretty small (large above-ground pool sized), but most summers the swimming would be a lot better & the falls a lot fuller.

Access from 37 27.880 N 81 03.840 W Parking area & follow upper (right side) trail to the falls. Just after the falls multiple steep-ish trails to the left take you to the base & the swimmin' spot. Less than 1/2 mile hike...can't hardly miss it if you can figure out how to drive in.


Note: This may tend to be a more adult-oriented swimming area in the evenings as a lot of locals like to use the area up to & around the falls for partying & especially drinking. Just so you're aware of others that use the area.
