This state park has some walls created by Native Americans over 2000 years ago. The walls are now covered with earth. The created walls and the cliff faces of the river form a "Stone Fort". This area was used for ceremonies by the Indians, but what type of ceremonies is not known. The entrance to the "fort" faces almost north or just about the direction of the sun during the summer solstice.
