Rice paddles are the Japan equivalent of a spatula in most of the world. They are certainly used everyday, and this one claims to be the largest in the world. It's located in the shopping district of the historic island of Miyajima. There's plenty else to see while here. Take the ferry out of Miyajima port and explore some of the historic culture of Japan.
