The Tacoma Lawn Bowling Association donated this building and the lawn area to the city of Tacoma in 1967. Wright Park is a historic park located near the downtown area of Tacoma.

The Tacoma Lawn Bowling Association funded the construction of this clubhouse and the building of the field in 1967 in historic Wright Park.

Recently the new master plan for the park called for the tearing down of this area, but citizens asked for it to be saved and now they are just going to relandscape around the lawn.
