Black Combe (G/LD-030) This summit is the most southerly of the Lake District summits. It has extensive views across the sea and the Isle of Man can be seen on a clear day.

This Waymark was registered after activating this summit for Summits on the Air.

All the Summits in Britain are catalogued and Radio Hams "activate" them by transmitting from the summits as part of the Summits on the Air Programme (www.sota.org.uk)

As they are on mountain tops they will be of interest to geocachers who are fell walkers.
