The stadium officially in 1997 when the team previously in Bellingham moved in. While of a simple, almost spartan design, the team and venue have proved quite popular in this growing area. The Volcanoes are a feeder team of the major league San Francisco Giants, and in the 11 seasons here have won their division five times. Hopefully this foretells future success for the parent club.
