This old cemetery fenced in field stone is located in the woods beside Landsford Road, in Chester County, SC. The site is between 1/2 acre and 1 acre in size and is badly overgrown although visitors have made usable paths throughout the cemetery.

The oldest readable grave I saw was that of John and Robert Bratton, who died in 1804. The newest grave I saw was that of Elizabeth Melissa Culp Stephenson, who died September 7, 1913. The tombstone of William Simpson, who died at the age of 27,is dated 1777, but I could not tell whether that was the year of his birth or the year of his death.
The site contains many graves too weathered to read, and also contains many unidentified graves marked with uncarved fieldstones. Raw fieldstones were frequently used in this area to mark the graves of early settlers, slaves, and the poor.
