This "new" church in Vasa was built after the old town burned down 1852, and they transfered the town. It was opened 1862, and the architect was C. A. Setterberg.
Has about 900 places in the church, and in the celler 130 seats.
The organ in the church has 45 parts (Marcussén & Son) and a smaller organ with 4,5 part (Ryde & Berg).
The painting in the mainchancel is made by Albert Edelfelt 1892 - 1894.
They are sending the in the radio every sunday.
