The Pleasant Prairie School was built in 1913 and enlarged in 1917. The school was located about 5 miles southwest of Holyoke and served Phillips County District 14. The school closed in the 1940's and was moved to Holyoke in 1951 and then moved again within Holyoke in 1999 and became part of the Phillips County Historical Society Museum. The school has been refurbished as close as possible to original.
